The Toyota 1AR engine, a core power unit of the AR series, is a 2.7L inline-four naturally aspirated gasoline engine designed specifically for mid-to-high-end models. With its mature and reliable technical genes, it has become a power benchmark for many classic models of Toyota and Lexus. This newly assembled version strictly adheres to Toyota's original factory manufacturing standards and assembly processes, with all components meeting original specifications. The full-process precision assembly from the cylinder block to the valve train ensures that the stability and durability of power output inherit the original factory quality.

In terms of core technologies, the engine is equipped with a Dual VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence) system and an ACIS (Acoustic Control Induction System), which dynamically adjust valve timing and intake tract length according to speed and load. Combined with 12-hole high-pressure atomizing fuel injectors and tumble control valves, it achieves efficient combustion, delivering a maximum power of 140kW (190Ps) and a peak torque of 252N·m while balancing fuel economy and low emissions (meeting Euro IV standards). Adopting a lightweight aluminum alloy cylinder block, forged steel crankshaft, and resin balance shaft design, it features both high rigidity and low vibration advantages. Equipped with low-friction technologies such as an offset crankshaft and reduced-tension piston rings, it further enhances operational smoothness and service life, compatible with various models including Toyota Highlander, Sienna, Venza, and Lexus RX 270.

All engines undergo professional hot run-in tests before leaving the factory: first running at 800-1000r/min for 1 hour without load to fully inspect the sealing and operating status of the oil-electrical circuit and cooling system; then conducting loaded run-in with 10%-15% rated load to optimize the adaptability of part friction surfaces. After run-in, key indicators such as cylinder pressure and piston run-in marks are verified to meet standards through disassembly inspection, ensuring the engine reaches the optimal working condition upon delivery and can be put into use without additional run-in.
